I've been working on this crazy freeform crochet thing for a bit now. I'm not sure what it is or is going to be, but it's been such a good break from making things using pretty rigid pattern instructions. It's felt really freeing to not have to be too concerned about how something is gonna come out. I've been just making shapes at v random and cutting then attaching new colors wherever.

Blocking this piece has been super essential since it can look super wonky otherwise. I've kinda been doing that as I go along to get a better feel for how it's looking. This has been a pretty great project for using us some scrap yarn I otherwise don't have a plan for, I think I'll also make one with some of the warmer tone scraps I have too.
